To be considered for registration with our nanny agency, you must have at least 3 years’ of experience working as a nanny in the UK, a current Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate, Paediatric First Aid certificate, have an excellent command of the English language, and be permitted to work in the UK.

To join our leading nanny agency, you must meet our experience criteria, have a fully verifiable employment history so we can carry out identity checks and a bonus would be if you hold any relevant childcare qualifications. Then, either email us your CV along with a covering letter and a description of the nanny vacancy you are seeking, outline of salary expectations, and other relevant information or click on the ‘Nanny Registration’ button found on every page of this site. If your application is accepted we will have a brief telephone conversation prior to inviting you to meet with us in person for your full registration interview.

  • Various original forms of identification, which must include Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS – previously known as CRB), passport, driving licence, National Insurance number, Ofsted registration, Childcare qualification certificate and Paediatric First Aid Certificate
  • Up to date written references and their contact details
  • Current written references and contact details
  • Two documents to verify your current home address.

Our highly experienced professional consultants will prepare a brief profile which will be sent to the parents offering vacancies which interest you, and we feel are a suitable match. This will be in addition to your CV and professional style photograph. You can also keep watch on our portal, website or social media sites. If you see a role which interests you, telephone the office and quote the job reference number to obtain further information. We love to talk to you.

Please note, we will contact your referees for verbal verification of written references from the last five years or three most recent employers, whichever is greater.

We will contact you if the family wish to learn more about you and we will arrange the interview at a date and time that suits all.

We will contact the family to provide feedback from your interview. We request that you call us as soon as possible after the interview to advise us how you felt the interview went, and to let us know if you are still interested in the position. If everyone feels the family and nanny is a suitable match, you may be invited for a further interview to meet the second parent and possibly the children. Occasionally, a trial session is offered to ensure all concerned are making the right decision. Offers of employment may be made either at interview, or after discussions with our agency.
